The Colleen M. Supinski Foundation, Inc. provides philanthropic contributions to both public and private charities, organizations and education with a focus on scholarship, literacy and underprivileged individuals and families in crisis in Eastern Pennsylvania and elsewhere.
The idea for the foundation was conceived as an outgrowth of the expression of respect and love for Colleen from her family and friends. She was a remarkable friend, who is missed and much loved, and will always be remembered. A 1996 graduate of Susquehanna University and a 1992 graduate of Notre Dame High School in Easton, PA, Colleen reached out to make a difference in the lives of others. Colleen was involved as a Special Olympics volunteer, as a member of Students Against Drunk Driving, and chair of “Hoops for Hope”, a cancer research fund raising program.
Colleen lives in the memory of the people who knew her: Her family, her hometown community in Easton, PA, her Manhattan friends, her Wall Street and other business colleagues, her high school and college cross country and track teammates, her Kappa Delta sorority sisters and other SU friends, those she met while studying in Aix en Provence. All are forever blessed for having known her and experienced her warmth.
Colleen understood the importance of creating her own opportunities and welcomed her challenges as an associate trader for Sandler O’Neill & Partners L.P. She and her colleagues shared a camaraderie on their trading desk in the World Trade Center’s South Tower. Colleen was among friends on September 11, 2001.
